Commission Based Contractor Position

Job Description / Responsibilities:

  • Directly communicating with clients via meetings, phone conversations and emails
  • Arranging meetings and appointments
  • Advise clients with regards to the Strata Property Act, strata bylaws and other relevant matters
  • Preparing correspondence, documents and minutes
  • Review monthly financial reports, monitor strata fee payments
  • Collecting, sorting, coding and approving strata corporation invoices
  • Obtaining quotes, ordering, arranging services
  • Timely following-up with clients
  • Updating website and internal database
  • Performing other duties as required

Experience / Education

  • Minimum two years experience as a licensed strata manager
  • Strata Management License in BC

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Strong written & oral communication skills (English)
  • Proficient word processing and typing (50 wpm)
  • Computer knowledge including MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), Email, Internet
  • Time management skills, organizational skills, both analytical and problem solving, and the ability to work with confidential documents
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, achieve deadlines under pressure  and handle emergencies
  • Punctual attendance and personable attitude with ability to work with people in a respectful and cooperative manor.
